I have to admit that I have been buying a lot of new fabrics recently. Most of my purchases have been patriotic fabrics, but there are also a few new bird fabrics on the way. It's always great to open a box of new fabric and there is usually a lot of oohing and aahing involved. I am rarely disappointed in my online fabric purchases, which is good, since I live at least 2 hours away (round trip) from a fabric store.
I recently received a new shipment of patriotic-themed fabrics and this one is just stunning. I really love the pop of bright red color and the script and text in blue and white. Pictures do not do this justice- this one looks much more colorful in person!
Very exciting news- Bags of a Feather is now a marketplace vendor on Mammoth Nation! After applying and working closely with them to figure it all out, my shop went live yesterday. I am very proud to be associated with a conservative company that supports American businesses and donates to conservative candidates and causes. They have a growing list of companies and members, and I plan on shopping there as a member on a regular basis.
Here is some information about Mammoth Nation:
We have joined Mammoth Nation! If you haven’t heard, Mammoth Nation is America’s Conservative Discount Marketplace. What to do when it's -3 degrees outside and windy- just too cold to go out of the house? I was inspired by thoughts of spring and dug out some of my favorite spring-themed fabrics, such as pansies:
Hummingbirds:
Goldfinches in their bright yellow spring plumage:
And some nesting cardinals:
Even though it is mid-January and there is still quite a bit of winter left, it is nice to think spring!
